After falling foul to the weather earlier in the year the fixture has been rearranged for Sunday 11th March. We look forward to welcoming two representative teams to Edgeley Park. Kick off at 2.00, come and watch no admission charge.

The 1st team went down 27 - 8 away at Stratford on Avon on Saturday in a game that was closer than the scores would indicate. The Whitchurch scorers were Danny Nicholas with a penalty and James Parkes with a second half try on his debut.
The 2nds were never in front in their home game with Sefton 2nds and eventually lost 22 - 10 against a more experienced side.
The colts had a close battle away at Loughborough in the National cup. The sides were level with 2 minutes to go but the home team scored a last minute try to win the game 24 - 17.

Saturday 3 March brought a welcome win for 1st team. Playing Burton on Trent at home they won a very close game 17 - 14 with tries by Dodd, Crank and Nicholas who added a conversion to one of the tries. By scoring 3 tries to their opponents 2 they probably just deserved to win the game, but it was very tight !
The seconds travelled to West Park St Helens 2nds and went down 27 - 5, while the 3rds played Heaton Moor 2nds and won 24 - 7, a good win. 75th Anniversary Celebrations
